Worked very well. Came complete with back as advertised. Phone now lasts 3 days with use rather than 1. Easy to install.
The first few times I used my phone after charging this battery, I was extremely disappointed--it barely lasted a day. It eventually started to retain more charge over time, but the battery life is still below average compared to other phones I've owned. If your battery life is complete crap, and you're looking to improve it, this will probably help a little. I eventually just decided to scrap my RAZR and go with something else, which was a better move for me.
The battery I received was labeled as 1400mAh and, like previous ones that I've used (they last about a year before losing capacity), at least doubles my talk and standby time. Since the battery is thicker it requires replacement of the phone's standard battery cover which also, of course, makes the phone slightly thicker. For me the small additional thickness is a small price to pay for much longer battery life.
Bought 2 of these because my original was starting to act up. (also bought a stand alone charger) Whereas my standard one could make maybe 1-15 minute call before beeping relentlessly "low battery" These however last for several 30 min - 1 1/2 hour calls before even losing 1 bar on the battery indicator. I would deffinately reccomend them.
I got this battery as the replacement for the original one which at the end allowed me just to make one quick call until it was empty again. I am using it now since about a month and I am very pleased though I have to admit that I am only using my cell phone for about 15 min/day which highly likely is less than the average person may use it.As for added thickness in the back: It does not bother me while carrying it in my purse, but at times feels a bit bulky if you put it into the pockets of your pants. The provided lid fits perfect and stays in place even in the pocket. Most of all I appreciate not having to charge it every day.
